Well I try to include as much info as I have. Sometimes members disappear or change their names, or just don't offer updates, and I'm not always able to figure everything out on my own.

From what I've seen, visas are almost NEVER issued the same day, although sometimes they've been ready within a day or two. In ME/NA, we normally see at LEAST a week or two of processing. So if the AR was less than a week or two, I usually don't bother to post it (unless the person requests it.)

I think what helps others is seeing that it's not unusual to be waiting a month or several months after the interview (or sometimes even longer with some consulates) before the visa is finally issued. Long ARs are quite nerve-wracking, but when people see what so many others have gone through at the same Consulate, and still come out successfully, hopefull it will help to calm some of the fears.

wom - when it doesn't mention how many days/months in AR, does that mean they got the visa the same day, or was there not enough info to be able to record it here?

Well I try to include as much info as I have. Sometimes members disappear or change their names, or just don't offer updates, and I'm not always able to figure everything out on my own.

From what I've seen, visas are almost NEVER issued the same day, although sometimes they've been ready within a day or two. In ME/NA, we normally see at LEAST a week or two of processing. So if the AR was less than a week or two, I usually don't bother to post it (unless the person requests it.)

I think what helps others is seeing that it's not unusual to be waiting a month or several months after the interview (or sometimes even longer with some consulates) before the visa is finally issued. Long ARs are quite nerve-wracking, but when people see what so many others have gone through at the same Consulate, and still come out successfully, hopefull it will help to calm some of the fears.
