I am not in the question, does Toni and her parents think it is a good law?

She obviously enjoyed some benefit from the Obamacare or her path to Fox. Let's just hope the women in the workplace rules still protect her when Hannity makes his moves.

Do we know that her parents are using ACA insurance?  I’m not close enough to her to inquire.

It does not matter who the insurer is, the ACA says your kids can stay on until 26

Not on my insurance.  Age 21 for kids, age 23 for kids in college.  Still the same today, in spite of the ACA.

Q2:What plans are required to extend dependent child coverage up to age 26?

The Affordable Care Act requires plans and issuers that offer dependent child coverage to make the coverage available until a child reaches the age of 26. Both married and unmarried children qualify for this coverage. This rule applies to all plans in the individual market and to all employer plans.

Q3:Will young adults have to pay more for coverage or accept a different benefit package?

Any qualified individual must be offered all of the benefit packages and cannot be required to pay more for coverage than similarly situated individuals.

Q4:Can plans or issuers who offer dependent child coverage impose limits on who qualifies based upon financial dependency, marital status, enrollment in school, residency or other factors?

No. Plans and issuers that offer dependent child coverage must provide coverage until a child reaches the age of 26.

But it DOES matter.  My insurance won’t cover my kids past 23.

Eligibility ends on your child's 23rd birthday or when he or she is out of school, whichever comes first.

Not sure how you got a policy not compliant with the law.

Had it for 23 years now.  Maybe it was exempt somehow from the ACA rules.  Might hafta call them up and press the issue, see what they tell me.

ETA:  Found it online.  I can extend my kids up to 26 due to ACA.  But I have to pay an extra $319 a month to do so.

But I thought costs were going to go down?

Luckily, just like almost every other Obama era policy, the ACA is being dismantled.

Dismantle, repeal...either way it is unsustainable and won't be around much longer.

The smarter Republicans in Congress know they need to solve the concerns of their constituents. Republican and Democratic governor's are giving Congress an earful.  It is not being dismantled until something improved comes along.

It is interesting that now that the majority of folks want to keep Obamacare, conservatives call it ACA. The legacy of Obamacare will be with us for a long time.

It is being dismantled as we type.

We do agree on something though, the legacy of Obamacare will certainly be with us for a long time.  It will take decades to fix the system.

If by fix, you mean take insurance away from Millions, that would be political suicide.

No, by fix, I mean fix.  Obamacare has been a disaster.  Of course, it was always intended to be a disaster.  Democratic leaders wanted single-payer health care, but the majority of Americans were perfectly happy with what they had at the time.  They couldn't go straight to single-payer, so they created a system that would fail so miserably and destroy the system so badly, that the only option to save our healthcare system would be to have the government step in and provide a single-payer system.  They almost succeeded, they probably only needed 4 more years to bankrupt the healthcare insurance industry.

Sure, more people have insurance now, but even more people have insurance they can't afford to use, because their deductibles are too high.

Answer to your question is he's using a policy that he's had since before O'care came into being. It'll be on a lower tier. He can get coverage on an O'care compliant tier but it'll bump his premium. These 'grandfathered' plans don't have to obey all the rules. Their premiums however skyrocketed about the second year into O'care. Some people believed this was intentional to push them into the marketplace (which still had high premiums anyway). My grandfathered plan was hideous junk but worked for me at the time. I could barely afford it eventually as the premium rose and by marriage I dropped it and rerolled into an O'care compliant plan which we also reached a point we couldn't afford. I sure am glad my husband's job offered the best tier care possible. We're set now. It's shocking how much they generously shell out for us two, along side how much he also contributes. I never agreed with the staying on insurance until 26 idea. That's just me though. I think that should be something that could be more 'ala carte' type. For the instances where your adult child has lost a job or has a crisis they need dire help with, and the parent can afford such measures. Or for kids that are getting through college and contributing a little. Not to keep your deadbeat couch potato on, just because.
