EAD processing time

I have applied for EAD and it is almost 60 days and still my status shows Case is received. What is the next status and mostly what is the processing time for the same. I hold a L2 visa valid for the next 2 years.

Have you filed for EAD in August ? Right now the processing seems to be going slow but since last week a lot of July Filers have been receiving their EADs so am guessing August filers should start receiving their EADs from October ending

Yes , I applied in August. Also I need to know what are the various status for EAD. This there any way to expedite my application.

According to the USCIS website "You can submit an inquiry about your Form I-765 if your case has been pending more than 75 days"

My case got updated just now saying "Request for Additional Evidence" . What do they usually ask for?? I am yet to receive the mail regarding this.
