Italian Police Certificate

Hello !

 

I would need some help for the Italian Police certificate , I live in Uk so i will be attending the interview at the London Embassy. Do i need the certificate to be translated and legalized ?

You need to have a translation of the certificate. You can translate it yourself if you are competent enough in Italian to do so. I don't know what you mean by "legalized". It's already a legal document. The translation doesn't need to be notarized.

When i did my interview the embassy asked for both certificates which are called :

Certificato casselario giudiziale and Carichi pendenti. Make sure you have both of them and translated from italian to english. Good luck!

Thank you , and where did you get them translated ? Does it have to be through the embassy or I can ask any translator ? also so they dodn't ask for the " apostilla " i.e legalized ?

I did not used an apostilla on it. I just checked lol there's none. All you need to do is to find a cheap authorized translator from italian to english so he/she will sign and stamp your papers. That's very official.

I have family in the same Boat but for Family base F3 visa. They are Indian born but live in Italy they got both Certificato casselario giudiziale and Carichi pendent that were also translated in English as well but NVC send them a checklist

saying  see attached file. Can someone share an Example of their translated document please??
