k1 visa under administrative processing

Our case k1 fiancee visa is under administrative processing since 22nd of august, during interview, they did not keep my passport. after inteview they request resume.

on 26th of sep, we got email saying to submit passport. we submmited passport on 27th of sep. before we checked our case, it is the immigration visa as administrative processing from 22nd of august to 25th of sep, after that we checked, it is the non immigration section as application received on 25th of sep, we followed up , the case update on administrative processing on 16th of oct. what is going on? how long could wait for this? thanks

Nobody knows how long AP takes. It varies from case to case. some cases it's hours and some other cases it's months. All what you can do now is be patient and wait.
