AOS status still at "Fingerprint fee received" after 5 months

Hey,

I have already gotten my EAD+AP now waiting for my green card, and the case online shows "Fingerprint fee received" from May 2017 it hasen't changed and I did my biometrics 5 months ago...

Is this normal? Should my case status change at all until receiving the green card or interview?

When calling USCIS they are unhelpful as usual... I am adjusting from K1.

Thanks!

I don't know when you filed because you didn't fill out your timeline so I don't know  but I will let you know anyway. The average timeline for AOS has changed this year for 12-15 months on average right now, so you still have along time to go.

I filed mid May 2017. Thanks! So no updates like this are a thing of the norm?

Yes, it is par for the course as of right now. Be aware that some people get an interview and some people don't. If I were you then I would hope for an interview because on average it goes faster than no interview.

My wife had an interview for her AOS but for her ROC she did not have an interview at all.
