Good afternoon everybody.

Have anyone experienced changing mailing address from one to another? We are planning on moving to a different state and a bit worried. Does this going to delay the process? Because I've been told that in this case they will need to transfer my files from one local office to another. Thank you for your replies

Hi,

I don't think so, I mean based on my experience, the processing time is still the same. During my AOS process, we moved from AZ to MA, and the AZ USCIS office sent my GC to my MA address. You just have to let them know your recent address as well as your US sponsor.  Some people don't get an interview, and some do like us, so we also waited for my interview first before moving, but it is a case-to-case basis. An added factor too is the processing period per office. Hope this somehow helps you. Regards.
