I mailed off my I-129F the day before I found this site - 4/19/07. So now I'm finding the good ideas I didn't do, like add more evidence, include a cover letter, and make copies. I also found out the G-325, biographical information, forms are four pages. Whoops. It seems each page is just a duplicate for a different organization. Has anyone else made this mistake? Think the whole package will be sent back?

Our USCIS Journey:

4/19/07 - I-129F sent to TSC

8/26/07 - email notice that case approved with NOA2 date 8/24

11/8/07 - Interview Date. Visa received by courier same day.

11/22/07 - Arrival US

12/27/07 - Wedding date (civil)

1/17/08 - Sent off package for AOS/EAD/AP

3/15/08 - AP received

3/17/08 - EAD card received

5/13/08 - AOS approved!

5/17/08 - Wedding date (ceremonial - in Korea)

5/23/08 - Greencard received in mail. Good for two years

2/2/10 - I-751 Petition to Remove Conditional Status package sent

5/7/10 - Greencard received in mail. Good for ten years

8/8/11 - N-400 package sent

10/27/11 - N-400 Interview. Passed!

12/9/11 - Oath ceremony. Citizenship at last!

3/29/12 - US passport issued

It is possible the packet could be sent back, or you could be issued and RFE (Request For Evidence) to send them along. Either way, don't panic. Start now to gather the correct amount of each, they all need an original signature. 4 from you and 4 from your fiance.

Get them while you are waiting since you can't do much else. When /if USCIS contancts you hen you can just take the corrective action they suggest. You can do that for any other things you may have found are missing or not right in the packet you sent.

Good Luck

Sue

I agree with the information above. You will most likely receive an RFE for the forms, so it would be wise to have your fiance fill them out( all four pages this time), sign them and send them to you--you will need to do yours again too. Then when the RFE comes, you will have the forms ready to send and not cause any more delays.

Yes all 4 Pages of the G325A are needed,if you look at the bottom of each page, they all have numbers on 1-4 all of them go to differant places...is a pain filling it in but when its done its done :)

I downloaded mine from the USCIS website and when I filled in information on page one it automatically copied to the other pages. Then, like a doofus, I wasn't finished and couldn't save the changes, but it was nice to know that feature is available.

I'm sure many people began their journey before finding VJ and its helpful tips - so you're probably not alone. Hopefully nothing terribly major was missing and your petition may get through - just follow the guides and tips in the further steps.

  • Proof - or enough/more proof depends on what you sent to begin with - all you can really do now is sit tight and wait it out.
  • Cover letter is not required - no issue there.
  • Making copies not required - not an issue - is more for your benefit and for the benefit of your fiancé later but no issue.
  • Are you certain you didn't complete all 4 pages of the G-325 (for both you and your fiancé)? When you download the form, it is four pages...did you leave some out or ?? (Another reason why having a copy of what you sent would help - so you could be certain.) I think whether or not you get an RFE for this (if in fact you did leave them out) may depend on the adjudicator.

Hang in there...

Yes, I agree. There is no reason to panic. All 4 pages of G-325A have to be filled out, signed, and dated.
