I visited my partner (USC) on a B2 visa and long story short we decided to get married. My parents recently applied for tourist visas to attend the ceremony but were denied. They were told by the CO that it's because of my visa situation - the interview lasted all of two minutes and they were denied after the CO looked up my file. They both have been to the US many times with plenty of financial assets, and another child and grandchild at home, so on their own, they shouldn't have any issue with getting a tourist visa. 


My questions are: 

1. Is it worth it to apply for another tourist visa to try to attend the ceremony? 

2. When my green card is approved, would they still have the same visa trouble? 

3. What else can I do in future interviews to convince the CO that they will return?

They can easily get the visa again easily but they I have to wait till your status change ,   USA issue visa after rejecting but you should wait long applying again .   Now you have to start your process and get green card and then apply again ,   If they can wait till your passport then it will be great ... Don't apply fast...

You do nothing and your status doesn't matter either. They apply on their own merit and their ties to their home country matters.

Your situation didn't help their case. Although, you getting married on a tourist visa is an option, it is heavily frowned upon. It is certainly possible for them to get another visa but only time will tell. Whatever you do don't get too involved with their case. It will only show that they have an immediate relative in the US who is helping them and can be misconstrued as a stronger tie than their home.
