Hi everyone, I've always come to visajourney to read everyone's different stories and situations for the last few years. Anyways, I've filed AOS i485 for my husband ( he entered the US with a K1 visa in January. We got married that month at a temple and filed for AOS in Feb. 13, 2017.)The status changed to " Ready to schedule for an interview I485..... since March 23) He received  his work permit card in end of April. Our field office is Seattle WA. It has been over 6 months since and no interview letter or anything else. Anyways, I became pregnant in June and we both moved to West Virginia few weeks ago due to Seattle is too expensive for a living and updated our new address on uscis website 1 week ago and its not assign for processing yet as of today. Has anyone experience this long wait?

And as I acrossed some other members situations and I realized I have a concern that I dont know will it affects or will be asked for this AOS. I had married before in 2006 and filed for my ex-husband and he was approved for a conditional green card. I was 18 years old and he was 26. I was young and didnt take things serious so  did something awful to damage the relationship. He left me and didnt care about the removal of the conditional green card. I filed for divorce And everything was finalized in early 2008. From marriage to divorce was only 16 months. Anyways, I married again in 2013 and divorced shortly after (17 months,) And shortly after divorced to my second husband, i traveled aboard and met my current husband. I petitioned him for a K1 visa. We had our traditional wedding in his hometown aboard before he travels to the US. We basically officialized our marriage in the US, no wedding/party (too expensive and he doesnt have any friends or relatives here). Anyways, so my question is, would uscis making it harder for us because I was married before and filed an AOS for my first husband from 2006? My current husband never married before. Thanks for reading my longggg post, any input will help.

My previous failed relationship and petition 10 years ago was a big deal to them. They asked me lots of questions about it.
We were separated during the interview and drilled for an hour each.
For some couples it does not matter for others it does, each case and each adjudicator is different.
They also asked my now husband about his previous relationship.
Some of the questions were very personal.
Make sure your spouse knows every little detail of your previous relationships and reasons why they failed.

I would suggest you call the USCIS Customer Service and ask to speak with a tier 2 officer. I waited for more than 6 months after my case was schedule for interview, since I didn't get an online update, no email or text, I assumed it was within processing time. Unknown to me, the field office have scheduled interview for me in March, 2017. After calls and infopass , they told me i missed my interview and have to wait for another interview date. I finally have to involve my congressman, I got an email from the liaison officer scheduling me for interview next week. Still no interview notice, no email, no online status update and no text.

Long story short, either you call or get your congressman involve. Now that your field office has changed, I believe you should be in the PA field office now, you should ask for a transfer or you might have to go to your former field office for the interview.

I called them 2 times last couple weeks and they said its within processing time. I didnt talk to a tier 2 rep though. I did a service request ovee a month ago and nothing reply as well. The address update is still not processing after 8 days. Its kind of strange but I will call them again to see what's up. Thanks!
