Can I expedite EAD based on a job INTERVIEW?

no - I'm not saying "severe financial hardship" I'm saying "severe financial loss" it's an entirely different expedite category, and the one that is more easily claimed based on job offer. (Congrats on getting yours approved though).

Since last weekend I have read about 6 or 7 July Filers receiving their EADs. You might receive your EAD very soon too. Have little more patience bro...

The agent we talked to mentioned only financial hardship not loss, he gave us all the options we could expedite under but I see what you mean.

Have you filed for a service request OP? I filed one for my husband's EAD/AP once we got to the 90 day mark; my husband's EAD/AP combo card came 10 days later

Yeah already filled in a SR on September 21st and received no reply. Put another one in yesterday

Ah I see....well you can try to expedite the EAD card based off a job offer, as others have said, but the average processing time for an EAD is currently 100 days. So hold tight! I'm sure it'll be here soon.

My EAD got approved after 105 days. You said yours is pending for almost 100 days now. Is there no way you can wait a couple more days? I’m pretty sure you’ll recieve your EAD soon. But you can of course get your case expedited but honestly the expedition of your case will take longer to get processed. I recommend waiting a couple more days.

It has been 96 days now. I might as well try and expedite it, couldn't hurt. If I don't expedite it and they take over 105 days then im kinda screwed and will lose my

job offer

This is true ^ There were a few people in my group who tried to expedite their EAD's or AP's and ended up waiting longer than I did.

Surely it'll make no difference?

 

If I expedite it and they process my EAD before the expedite request is processed, then it'll arrive as if I never expedited it?

I'm not sure about the exact details of the whole thing...I just remember that 2 or 3 people tried to expedite their EAD/AP's due to various circumstances, and ended up waiting longer. I'll try to look through the thread and see how long it took for them to get their cards.

Good news guys, woke up this morning to "Card is in proudction!"

 

I actually called up my congressional office yesterday and asked them to try and expedite the case for me. It's amazing how quick they were!
