How do I find out which office is handling my AOS case so I can see the processing times? I mailed my AOS package in June of this year and received the confirmation of it. Fingerprints were done in July. Nothing else yet.

They send you by mail the letter and where your case is in one of the national service center. But anyways your case will be procesing in the office close to your house

Not necessarily. National center determines if a case is interview waived (most K1/K2 AOS) and  If a National center is backlogged, very often the cases are sent to ANY other  USCIS field offices to help to review the cases. For example, I live in MO, but due to a huge backlog my case was sent to Tampa, FL field USCIS office. THAT office made a decision about my AOS. With no interview in this case, of course  :)

OP. AOS from K1 can take up to a year, sometimes even more than that.

So, if  you are selected for an interview, than yes, you'll have an interview Notice from your  local USCIS office. But as it's been mentioned above, very often, well, I'd say the most K1/K2 AOS's get approved without interview and they just have their NOA2 /Welcome Letter and actual green card in the mail  box,...one day :)

Good luck!

My AOS took 15 months,.. Nothing was wrong - just they were experiencing a huge backlog at that time.

But at the same time I know people, who were getting their AOS approvals within 5-7 months...  There is really no way to predict how long it might take... I hope you submitted your I-765&I-131 along with I-485 - having an EAD makes this unpredictable wait much easier :)

Wow, 15 months, that's really long. I have submitted 131 and 765 with 485 in June, but haven't gotten anything except the initial 3 confirmation letters and the fingerprint appointment.

My son and I, we never received any notifications or letters that our cases were  transferred to a different field office. the same with a lot of VJ folks.  And USCIS website didn't have any updates about this as well .

They may or may not let you know. I don't really know what it depends on..

My NOA1 indicated my case was at NBC (MO), and son's NOA1 stated his case was in Nebraska... And it's been like that until we got a letter from Tampa ;) Even after that nothing changed on USCIS website... Only when we got approved :)

We got approved in 15 months. Yes, it's been a long wait, with EAD renewals and numerous renewals of Driver License .  I was really happy when it was finally  behind us..

But time flies, and a new "wait game" has started recently - I-751.  Lets see how long this process will take  :)

Good luck to all of you, guys!!! Hope, your immigration journey will be smooth!!

Yes, for real :) They believe we just had our K1/K2 interviews back to our home countries. So no need to call each of us again ..

Sure, some K1/K2 still get interviewed, randomly, but a lot of people - don't.
