What and when is the step to submit the I-134 form, Affidavit of Support, to prove the petitioner's annual salary in order to be the sponsor of the fiancé beneficiary?
All and information related to this part of the process is very much welcome!

It is only needed during the foreign beneficiary's visa application process, usually during the visa interview. Tax transcripts, pay stubs, employer letter, bank letter etc should be enclosed to support the I-134.

ETA: US petitioner's annual income must meet the poverty guideline for his/her household size. If it doesn't, US petitioner should find a co-sponsor to complete a separate I-134 and provide the same relevant supporting documents. The co-sponsor's annual income must be able to cover him/herself + dependents + foreign beneficiary.

Just hand carry to the visa interview and hand it to the officer when asked :) It's either at the document submission counter or directly to the interviewing officer. It is quite embassy specific.

Ok, got it.. Thanks! Also,  do I only need to meet the income requirement currently or is it by calendar year? I'm asking because I just got a job a few weeks ago that meets the requirement for my household but was unemployed at the time we initiated the K1 process.
