Hello guys , am new to here am Moroccan divorced and I have a daughter have been divorced for over a year now .. met my fiancé about 7 months ago he came and visited me , we got engaged.

Now I just want to apply for a tourist visa I know that I can apply for K1 visa but I know that its a lot of hassle and it takes forever and coz we are not planning to live in the US he wants to come and settle here in Morocco but meanwhile I just wanna go visit his family in there so what would be the best option for me please help ..... note that I don't actually work but my fiancé would be able to support me would that work? And what can I show as ties with my home country? Am not sure if I would be able to do this but if I leave my daughter with my mother would the consular consider that as a reason for me to get bk to my home country?  Thank you in advance ☺

Based on what all you posted, sorry to say but it doesn't sound like you have strong ties to your country. Leaving your child with your mother doesn't mean you'll return to her. A child can be easily abandoned. You have no job so you don't have any serious commitment to return to. Not having your own income and simply relying on your fiance's financial support, well, that could be seen more as a reason for you to attempt to stay in the US by entering with a B2. Even if you have properties (you didn't say so I'm just putting it out there just in case you do), that can be easily handled from abroad with your local family and friends' help. Overseas travel history in your case probably wouldn't help either. Additionally, Morocco is not at all an easy embassy. How about meeting a third country - you, him and at least his parents?

1.  Difficult embassy

2.  Fiance in US

3.  No employment

4.  Thinks K-1 "its a lot of hassle and it takes forever"

5.  CAN NOT SUPPORT SELF DURING VISIT

Your chances are not promising, to say the least.  You will need EXTREMELY strong evidence to successfully obtain a B2 visa.

Interesting. Two days ago you said you were going to apply for a K-1:

Is the sudden switch to B-2 because you've been told how long it is and that Casablanca is a difficult embassy? Seems a huge change of plan in 2 days.

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

I think its a bit obvious why I changed the plan , I asked many guys and they are saying that it takes about 8 months especially here in Casablanca also coz we are not planning to settle in the US anyways so I was thinking that its better to apply for the tourist visa coz it takes less time but apparently now with what everyone is saying its sort of impossible as well , so am not here just to mess about as you may be thinking regarding the way how you asked me.

Wanna know why it is difficult for many people to get visitor visas? Because they use it instead of a K1 because they don't like how long and difficult the K1 process is.

Why not try and find out, nobody on here has a say.

99,9999% of people just apply.

Not that complicated.

What do you mean ? How? By just go for it and appy? I asked here coz I know people would have had experience before me .....don't you think?

Sure you can apply. I don't think anyone on this site is actually a Moroccan who has applied for a tourist visa, right? If you can afford the fee, the worst they can say is no, and you're in the same position you are in now.

However, don't lie. If they ask your intent you should say it's to visit your fiance, because after he goes to Morocco if you change your mind later and want to visit or he files CR1 you don't want it showing you lied on an application previously.

you can apply its 160$ fee but 99% chance you wont get it. and you MUST say fiance on the application, or else when you apply for another visa, then you are screwed.

its funny how quickly one minds change from wanting a k1 to a b2
