ok thanks And the reason you choose ???

That the NVC told me to schedule the appointment with the U.S. Embassy Bogota.

Mind you, I did this before and scheduled the interview...then they cancelled it 10 days before our interview date. Beware.

Pretty sure you are tired of questions so i really thank you..i have searched n dont find anything.. i just told my husband to go to the embassy n find out as much info as he can for me to post and help others with the same concern as myself... in regards to getting the colombian visa, do they have to open a bank account in cuba? If so, how much do they need on the account? Thanks

No worries. That's what I'm here for! Helping others.

I don't believe so. My fiance used my U.S bank statement which had roughly $1800 at that time and a letter saying that I am financially responsible for him which I signed and dated.

Hello all,

I read in an article that the Colombian government requires that Cubans on the island demonstrate that they have had $2000 in a bank account for the past 6 months in order to obtain a visa to Colombia. Can anyone please provide details on what was required, for Cubans on the island, in order to obtain a visa to visit the US Embassy in Colombia?

Thank you

I believe they'll also accept evidence from the beneficiary's bank showing that they have 2,000 dollars in their account.

Hello.

If anyone hears about US embassy re-opening in Havana, Cuba please let us know. US delegates met with the cuban government last week and they are deciding whether to re-open. Hopefully for those who haven't had their Notice of Approval Letter yet, this is good news. Anyways, Cuba or Colombia, but I'm looking forward to hear if anyone has more info on this topic. I heard it would re-open in March 4.

Hey, can someone add me to the facebook group? I applied in September 25, and should be receiving by NOA2 soon, this month. I would like to know how long they give you the interview for, after you receive the NOA2, and what things we should have ready for that.. Please, someone. I'm a 1st year dental student, always full of exams and very little time to research about this, and need a support group or some guidance in case I have any questions.

Thank you!
