Thank u very much. Very helpful I must say. I intend paying for the bills that's y I am asking of price and to know if the payment would be made while in Nigeria but some replies seem so out of place.

I don't understand what u meant by wards of $100 bills and Medicaid. Thank u

Why would you be asking on an immigration forum what the cost of a labor and delivery is? Shouldn't you be contacting hospitals and asking them?

I find that medical treatments without insurance fall into the same category as diamonds, antiques and Ferraris: "if you need to ask the price, you can't afford it".

I agree completely. I can guarantee that the cheapest place to give birth is in rural Arkansas, Mississippi or Louisiana. Good luck with that....

Like I said before, you can't get a pre-payment unless you are already being seen by an OB doctor (which she isn't), so who would let you pay in advance without ever seeing the patient?

Here is a great resource for finding your answer, it is long but it goes into detail about the cost of having a baby without insurance.

I'll give you just the cost of a recent visit to my obgyn that included an ultrasound.  $1900.  That is for one office visit and a scan.

My son was one of those that was full term but had difficulties after birth.  The birth was $30-40,000, the ambulance to the second hospital was $6000.  The NICU stay was over $100,000.

Best not to give birth without insurance.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Simple, they want to immigrate and give a birth here. That's why they're seeking on advice how to crack the system and bring her here as a tourist so she can give a birth with no money and go away or whatever. On my taxes that I pay here.

Again, NOT going to happen.

I also see it as the same wanting to come to USA to cheat the system and have us pay for it, cause if they have that type of money to pay here then they have money to pay in there country cause other countries are so much cheaper to live in when u have all that money. I live like a king when i see my fiance in the philipines with american money.

You can choose whatever you want to choose but you can't change the fact. You guys must either pay for that birth or stay home.

That's not necessarily true.

The majority of hospitals will provide the services and then you get a bill that will eventually have to be paid.

Only time will tell. But I think they won't give birth in the US.

Many women come to the US to give birth.

Generally, a pregnant woman applying for a tourist visa can be denied one, depending on the embassy.

However, once she has a visa and gets pregnant, she can travel.

My mom flew to the US and was allowed entry when she was about 8 months along. She was completely against delivering the baby in the country, though, so she flew out with about 2 weeks to go D:

However, she managed to get in at 8 months.. This shows that it's at least possible.

You might wanna consider a career with custom and border protection so you can personally deny people like "them" from entering the US.

Why single out the OP? Thousands of women from Asia, Africa, Europe come over to the US to give birth to their children for obvious reasons (US citizenship for their kids). Most are wealthy. The OP probably is too regardless of whether or not s/he understands basic english. If you have no credible answers/advise for the OP then don't type anything.
