Just a quick question for all those who have gone through the process of getting a visa. I'm filing for a K1 visa and awaiting NOA2

Using VisaJourney's estimated timeline function, my answer is January 16th. I was just wondering how accurate these timelines are? I don't expect it to be 100% accurate but is it usually correct within a matter of days or weeks etc?

thanks

The timeline estimates are only as good as the data VJ members submit.  You will notice, as time passes, the estimate will change accordingly as more members indicate action on their cases.  In my particular case (CR-1), we were approved several weeks after the original estimated date.

Good luck..

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Mine like @missileman's estimated approval dates changed as more members input their data. However, we got our NOA2 earlier than the VJ estimated dates.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Average wait right now without an RFE is between 150 to 180 days from NOA1 date.

Good Luck to you!
