Hello. Another question that I'm having is about timing. Our noa2 is valid till January 3,2018. My interview date is December 27. Shall I ask the Embassy to prolong my petition in case of administrative process or some other things or Shall we be fine as we'd manage to have the interview done within the time phrame? Thank you all!

They'll extend the validity if it's needed due to long AP upon your visa interview that's taking place before the expiry of your NOA2 :) Now if your visa interview date is beyond the expiry date, then yes, best to contact the embassy to prompt them for an extension.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.
