Hello guys

I am doing K1 visa for my fiancee. I got everything NVC letter on 9/13/17. and about 10/3/17 my fiancee paid visa fee to be able to schedule an appointment.

10 days past since then and still unavailable to schedule an appointment. Every time I try do schedule an appointment shows me that "currently no appointments available" and it is already 10 days like this.

Can someone share experience how to get over it?

thank you

We are in Transit now and expect to see ready on Monday. I just saw today where an appointment was given for December 27. I think the average wait for an appointment is about two weeks as they are just assigning them first come first serve, and unfortunately it looks like another couple months wait for us my friend, but maybe not just have to see when they hand them out. Having said that two other friends received their appointments for two weeks out and then one month out so who knows ... Good Luck to you!

Generally, only limited slots are open for each month. Keep stalking the system just in case someone cancels and frees up a spot. Late October/early November is a good time to look out for December slot openings.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

when did you have a chance to schedule?

first come first serve by whoever got registered first and at the line or whoever makes schedule at first?

thank you my friend, may the luck be with you

So I have been checking past 10 days like 8-10 times a day, nothing so far

I've been waiting for 3 weeks before I could make an appointment for December 27. Unfortunatelly, there were no sooner dates, only 27 and 28 in December. I haven't heard of anyone to have an interview in November.

I needed Xmas and NY to spend together but seems like I have to just agree whatever shows up

You don't really have a choice other than to just keep checking :) You'll get one soon but it might not be an ideal date for your preference.

oh yes. this is so true... I was hoping for my interview in november or at least the beginning of December so I could spend my man's birthday, christmas and new year there with him. And here it's all delayed for at least a month. This is a tough process

Sorry to hear about the delay. I'm sure when you finally get the visa and move there permanently, you can make up for the lost time :)

Oh we're hoping for the same, but I am like you ... I just want to get her here with me and be done with this process, and so if we gotta wait an additional month .. well not much to do but accept it really. Good Luck to you and December will be here before you know it!

Our interviews are on December 19th. Have you managed to schedule?
