As one who has experienced both socialized and non socialized medicine, I think they both have their pros and cons. I don't see one or the other as truly evil, I do think there are some aspects of health care in the US that need to change. As I've said before, based on my experience I would give healthcare in the US a D- and that's on a good day. While I don't like alot of the ACA, I don't agree with this action by Trump, and he's pretty much shooting himself in the foot(again) because anyone affected by this I doubt would vote for him.

Obama set it's course for the iceberg from the beginning and the ship already hit the iceberg. Trump is just trying to get people to abandon ship before it sinks. It's not Trump's fault Obama illegally used money from Fannie Mae to fund this monstrosity. Trump simply reversed that illegal action.

Trump didn't bring anything new to the table, so the next best thing is to pretend he's doing something by reversing something that's in place. It's like rearranging the furniture and calling it a makeover.

A lot of confusion (or ignorance) about what Trump did and didn't do here. Obama couldn't get Congress to approve subsidies for his failed bill so he looted Fannie Mae (hurting home owners and prospective homeowners in the process) to make up for the short fall and the courts ruled it to be illegal. He filed an appeal and continued in his illegal activity. Trump simply put an end to the appeal and rescinded the illegal executive order. It's unreasonable to expect Trump to break the law to prop up Obama's disastrous legislation.

Threatened to stop DACA.

Sabotaged Obamacare.

Threatened to not honor the Iran Deal with our allies.

Stopped the Clean Air Act.

 

It's all so obsessive about undoing all of Obama's accomplishments. He's taking the country backwards. He's offered nothing new, no ideas.

So far no one has shown how the cut to the subsidies is Trump's fault. Obama illegally disregarded the wishes of Congress and got the subsidies by stealing from Fannie Mae. The courts ruled it illegal and he kept doing it. Trump gave Congress a chance to resolve the issue and they failed to. He issued an executive order reversing Obama's illegal activities and all of a sudden he is the bad guy here. Do you really expect Trump to continue to break the law to prop up Obama's failures?

Trump can't  get a Republican led Congress to replace the ACA. Loser.
