Hello everyone,

 

i have been lurking around here for quite some time now and I promised myself that once my case is done, I’m going to sign up and post stuff so I can help others that are going thru petitioning their parents.

 

Here’s our timeline:

 

 

9/19/2016 - mailed I-130 thru UPS

9/26 - text message they received my I-130, hard copy of noa 1 received 

11/30 - text message saying its APPROVED!!!

12/2 - hard copy of noa 2 received 

12/12 - email received from NVC

12/13 - DS-261 submitted 

12/15 - received email that agent has been assigned 

12/16 - Paid online AOS and IV fees

1/3 - mailed AOS packet to NVC

1/16 - submitted DS-260

1/24 - called NVC. They received my AOS last jan 9th. They haven't opened it yet due to backlog. 

2/6 - called NVC again. Still nothing. 

2/17 - checked online and it said they received our ds260 but waiting for AOS. They have received the AOS in the mail Jan 9th. Hmmm?

3/16 - called NVC as today marks 8 weeks. Agent said he is going to forward our case to the supervisor and expect to wait for 6 weeks more. They haven't reviewed case yet. 

4/6 - Documents completed! Waiting for the interview letter

4/14 - received email of interview date for May 22nd

4/18 - st Luke's. Found something in X-ray

5/2-5/4 - 3 day sputum tests

5/9 - X-ray evaluation, gave one week antibiotic

7/10 - culture done, negative yay! Took X-ray again 

7/11 - needed X-ray 2nd opinion. Came back in the afternoon for 3rd opinion. After evaluation from 5 radiologist, they wanted 3 more days of sputum then 2 more months of culture. 

7/25-7/27 - another 3 day sputum tests

7/31 - back to st Luke's for evaluation -negative

9/27 - vaccinations done

9/28 - went back to st Luke's to get discharge papers 

9/28 - went online and scheduled for interview for oct 6

10/10 - visa interview. PASSED!!!

10/12 - checked online and said visa issued
