USCIS approved my case 23 days ago

My case was approved by the USCIS 23 days ago.  I called the NVC last week and this week to ask them if they have received my case from the USCIS and I was told that it takes 6 weeks to only receive it and another 2 weeks to process it and give the NVC applicant a NVC number.

I contacted the USCIS and I was told on 9/22 that the case approval was sent to the NVC.  That's 18 days ago not including Sundays.  I am not sure why it's taking this long just from the NVC to receive the case

just got an email saying they received it so took me about a month (i -130)

I know a lot of Applicants that got approved from the uscis and because their spouse is from yemen all of them are taking over 2 months for the nvc to receive their cases.  I am pretty sure this is being done on purpose which is not fair.

Who sent you the email, the NVC?  You think they got the email from the USCIS?

I’m in the same situation. Got approved on sept 13th and NVC hasn’t received my case yet. I have emailed my approval notice to nvc research and have put enquirer on USCIS too. It’s very frustrating. My case got approved after a year and a half.

Yeah, its BS.  Mine was approved on September 19th and the letter was sent to the NVC on September 20th.  The USCIS sent 2 letters on the same day (9/20) one to the nVC and the other to myself.  I received mine on 9/22 and the NVC claims they havent received it.  Now they are telling me to scan my approval letter and send it to them.  When I asked how long it will take, they told me unfortunately there is no time limit.  BS

I called them to ask if they have received it. Operator asked me to call in 2 weeks to get the case number.

My case got approved on September 19th and today is November 8th and I haven't heard anything.  I sent a copy of my approval notice almost 2 weeks ago and I got my senator to send a letter to request an update.  Still nothing :(

Hey. I can feel you. I waiting more than 600 days for approval. Have you called uscis and asked for an inquiry? When my husband called uscis regarding the delay they opened a service request.

I submitted my case back in December 2016 and it got approved by the uscis on September 19.  But the approval letter i got says the nvc will contact me within 30 days and that the uscis sent the nvc my approval notice.  I waited the 30 days then called the nvc and they told me it can take up to 6 weeks (42 days).  I waited 45 days then called them and they told me to scan my approval letter and send it to them and i did that around 2 weeks ago.  When i call the nvc now they tell me to wait until they contact me and there is no time limit or time frame when they will.
