Photo tool

Hi all,this year will be my first entering the lottery. I've tried to gather as much information as I can with regards to requirements. However I just want to confirm that using a photo tool for my family's pics will not disadvange us. Or would you rather suggest I use the professionals?

What do you mean by photo tool to take the photo? You can take it on your own camera or by a professional, in either case make sure it meets the requirements. There is a photo tool on the website that will help you see if it meets the technical specs but you still need to ensure the background color is right, facing camera etc. we won DV with iPhone photos so no you don’t have to use a professional but you might prefer that if you’re unsure about the specifications.

I'm sorry,I meant a Photo tool app which I can download on my phone. But since you say that you won with pictures taken with your iPhone,I feel a bit at ease that i haven't lost the plot. Thank you for the speedy response. Also can i ask? I'm a single mother of 3 pregnant with my 4th child,father has just passed on.I'm working for the department of education in gauteng,have savings and my pension fund pay out should I get selected and get the visa. Would my big family and the fact that I'm single possibly cause me to maybe not get the visa. I hope my questions is comprehensible. Thank you

I’m sorry for your loss. 

 

The fact that you’re a single mom on its own won’t cause disqualification but you’d need to be able to show that you will be able to support your family if you get selected. Your savings and pension fund will be taken into account.
