She is actually a big help with the kids and doing pots/pans and things and I do appreciate her, she's just kind of funny sometimes.

I definitely need to make sure that I make a lot of freezer meals for when she comes to help out with the new baby.

Took brood to Sears for last day, we & she & wee man.

As we should have figured, everything was on the first floor, escalator & elevator de-escalated man.

However, Mini-B. didn't mind, no man.

His smart little brain was processing the concept of how & why stores close, in-depth questions from wee man.

There was no merchandise left for kids, and very little apparel for men, sigh man.

However, we managed to find Many (2+1) silk ties, two Arrow one Dockers man.

We also found some Many-packs of C-cell batteries, never know when useful man.

Conversely, Mrs. T-B. absolutely cleaned up, shop like a wild woman she man.

She found some very originally-expensive things, Many (2x2x2x2) of same man.

Discount was still Many% (2x2x2x2x2x2+[2x2x2x2]%), si man, but with another Many% discount (2x2x2x2x2-2%) tacked on at the register, fair enough man.

Our total expenditure was just cents over Manyple digits, OK because Mrs. T-B. hadn't gone shopping in some time man.

After Sears, lunched at a barbecue place, never been before man.

Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. were well-satisfied, si she & wee man.

Ours wasn't bad, either, ingest we man.

However, back at the casa, it bit us in the stomach, intestinal fortitude required man.

We were out of commission for several hours, groan we man.

We finally conquered it right when Mama T-B. called for assistance in curbsiding stuff from garage, downsize senior she man.

We curbsided a great Many empty boxes, all dust-covered man.

Mama T-B. then gave us Many books for possible reselling, Half-Price Books man.

Report on same pending, same time same channel man.

Did you explain to him that the CEO of Sears-Kmart doesn't seem to care about the  brand survival at all?  I would have gone back to basics before it got this far - like old schools Sears catalog: really basic clothing that stays away from fast fashion, house/shed building kits, quality appliances and tools, etc.

The Macy's here closed recently and any trip would have told you why: walmart quality clothes for quadruple the price (brought down by the oh so mandatory coupons, of course).  These stores need to stop thinking that consumers are stupid and don't recognize shoddy workmanship on a piece of clothing.

Man, I don't know about that. Walmart clothes really really suck. Bought a pair of khaki's at Walmart that split out at the bottom (I'm not fat!) after 4 months. I had some other problem with Walmart clothese too that I'm not currently recalling. I agree in principle that the stuff at Macy's isn't that great in quality but the clothes have to be really crappy to be as bad as Walmart. I buy pet food, hershey's caramel syrup and candles at Walmart. Not too much else.

I'll buy groceries at Walmart on rare occasion and some random items.  I'm sure that Macy's has some name brand things that have quality, but it didn't seem to be a goal of the store anymore.  Pretty much everything in the kid's department was poorly made and just terrible.  To contrast it with a neighboring store like Scheel's, that really only stocks well made clothing/shoes... I don't know, it just doesn't hold a candle to it.

I don't know who is stirring the fires of panic in K1 filers, but why do they all seem to think that they need to send everything and the kitchen sink with their applications?  Some sort of weird herd mentality or something?

I don't think a lot of them understand the differences between countries. Some are very tough, some are not. I think they are basing this entire front load!!! thing on reading stories from difficult consulates, and thinking that applies to all of them.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Working on a Mexican holiday, credit card bills to pay!

So I dreamed that our I-130 was approved. I tripled checked the number and I couldn't believe it.

in a next dream, I was in bed with Ryan Reynolds, but it is definitely not as sexy as it sounds.

We were just talking since apparently, he was my BFF. :D I was way more excited about the approval.

I love this apartment, and I'm going to miss it. It makes me feel like I'm ''home'' even if I'm away from my husband.

I've been craving a bit of stability after jumping from one place to another all year. That's why I'm spending

most of what's left of the process, in Cozumel.

I don't tweet that often, but today, the once. It's Charles Manson people, Charles, who's died, not Marilyn Manson.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

oh,  my God, that man is perfection. I know he is also married with kids (something I wouldn't do IRL, as if I would ever have a chance with him :jest: )

but in dreamland? I would be all over him.

I agree, Reynolds seems like a fun guy who doesn't take himself too seriously. His wife is gorgeous and funny too, it seems.

They are. Plenty of pictures of Marilyn, plenty of comments about his music. Charlies' been locked up for yonks, I suppose there are a lot of people born well after 1969 who have never heard of him.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
