It truly sucks that Sears Hardware is no more, and the nearest Sears to us will now be Many (2x2x2x2) miles away up a heavily stoplighted artery, and that the nearest KMart to us has, for several years, been nearly Many hours away, grrr man.

 

The ones that closed were all high-volume stores, too, flying in the face of "the corporation is closing more unprofitable stores," good grief man.

ah, fashion. The only thing I understand about it, is how much I don't understand about it.I was just reading an article that Anna Wintour (Vogue/Condé Nast editor and boss queen) kept staring at an associate's clothes because she had had thighs with foxes on them. I thought they were cute, but apparently, fashion is actually like Devil Wears Prada, cut through and mean?

So I did a girl's nipples that were uneven and the pigment was off. 

Two men tattooed her before me, but they couldn't match her nipple color/skin tone at all, and now she is much happier.

I love doing projects like that, knowing that the little time and effort put into it, can improve someone's self-esteem. She hugged me and cried a bit in the ned and I cried with her. 

 

It was a relaxing day. In comparison, I have three appointments tomorrow and that's why I'm spending the rest of today just watching T.V and working on tomorrow's designs.

My mother is visiting and insists on making dinner.  She asks what there is the fridge to make: ground beef, ground pork, chicken breasts, and stew beef.  Mind you, she went grocery shopping to buy said things with me yesterday.  Then she claims there is nothing to make because humans don't eat those things.  Wha?  She doesn't want to prep the chicken breasts, because the butcher does that for her.  She had no idea there was even such a thing as ground pork, etc.

We ate out a lot when I was younger.

 

One of the three things I can remember her cooking (besides just throwing some tortellini in a pot) was veal cutlets, or rather wiener schnitzel.  They don't even sell veal at any of the supermarkets around here.  :blink:  

 

I was too tired to cook something, so I made the batter for pancakes for her and then cooked the bacon and sausage.  She does know how to flip pancakes.

 

I made myself a fruit platter instead.  Tomorrow, I'll make sure to start cooking before I totally crash....
