It is one of the small universities in the state's system and business is really the only major they have that isn't related to getting a teaching degree.  It is a 1.5 hour drive away, which leaves me with 2 or 3 options each semester to take to fulfill these requirements.  Last semester it was an English course, next it will be Geography.  The next two after that might be English and Library Science ones.    But yes, they are just a waste of money/time for the most part.  

 

I have a couple of programming courses under my belt, but they are 200-level.

I'd love to be a librarian, but they are bit of a dying breed.  We have the only non-school library in our county and even that is probably pushing the limits of funding with its one librarian.

After a great week in Oaxaca with my husband, I'm back to reality.

Spending one month in Mexico City tattooing and getting some art supplies,

since crazy me decided to spend 4-5 months just... painting, drawing etc. 

I can't handle the traveling for a while, I need a little break. 

So at the 10-month mark waiting for USCIS, I'll retire and channel my

frustrations, hopefully in a healthy prolific manner. Or just a fun one.

 

The good part is that I will spend one month with him during the Holidays,

and we will be together for our first year anniversary. I know how lucky I am.

this process is beyond exhausting, truly.

➺ 12/21/17 NVC confirmed they received our file 

➺ 01/22/18 Documents sent to Rapidvisa 

➺ 02/05/18  NVC received our package 

➺ 03/15/18 Case complete! 

➺ 06/27/18  We got our Interview date! August 28th 

➺ 08/30/18 The package arrived (waited at Juarez)

➺ 08/31/18 Entered the U.S with my husband 

➺ 02/13/19 Husband confesses he cheated, leaves

➺ 02/16/19 Husband decides to abandon the marriage

➺ 05/13/19  I am officially divorced. 

 ➺ 07/03/20  I file to remove conditions on my own     

 ➺ 08/13/21 I finally get my biometrics appointment 

➺ 02/26/22 I got my interview assigned: March 31st.

Not an optimal Sunday, no man.

One necessary morning errand and an unplanned afternoon delivery/retrieval to/from Mama T-B., senior she man.

Latter occurred during throes of laundry (2+2 loads) and highly upset gastrointestines from canned lunch, ouch man.

I'm pretty close.  I have 19 credit hours of classes after this semester is over.  Minor was done this semester, major will be done in May, and non-relevant stupid requirements in December.  I could get it all in sooner, but with the 3rd kid coming, I need my sanity and clean floors.

I have strep (like my kid).

My regular doctor is (like me), on vacation again.

So I'm seeing my doctor friend. There's like a hundred people in his office!

Thank heavens I get to cut the line.
