I've gotten used to the Minnesota slow, but some people would claim that Minnesota Nice is more like Minnesota passive aggressive.

The other aspects of the Minnesota personality are kind of general Scandinavian things... that has been part of being with my husband for over 5 years.  I used to be very confrontational, but that just isn't the Danish way.  I think we've brought each other to somewhere in the middle of our two personality types over the years.

That's exactly how all of my Minnesota native friends would define it, too.
