My mother and father in law are Gen-X-ers, but I think that whole time period evolved differently in Scandinavia.

I think this implies parents of a certain post-war age, but her parents were pretty old when they had her and my aunts/uncles are part of the Silent Generation...

My father is from the silent generation too. Mom is a boomer. 

 

Boomers are called that because of the kid explosion after the war ended.

My mom is 1950 so shes a baby boomer.  That lasted until 1964 fyi. (When birth control was available.)

I'm at that weird spot between Gen x and millennial in very early 1981.

It would appear that 4 of the people who died in NYC are from Argentina. The consulate is not saying anything and advised that the US government is not disclosing the identities but my mom sent me a message and says that all news outlets down there already know. If I understood correctly, it was a group of friends who went on a trip together. A 5th one is in the hospital and critically injured. 😔

And I think 2 are from Stuyvesant high school, one of the best high schools in the city.

You get into that school by academic achievement. 

That's one of the schools that the mayor was saying as having too many Asians, and it's not fair.
