Mrs. T-B. has agreed to celebrate our Many'th anniversary at Langosta Roja, just fine man.

Mrs. T-B. likes it, she man.

Mini-B. likes inspecting & commenting on the tanked lobsters, observational wee man.

We like that we have a coupon for $Many ($2+2) off of 2 purchased dinners, financially sensible we man.

Furthermore, Langosta Roja usually gives extras to people who are celebrating special occasions, free for we man.

We shall request rubias, rarely get what we don't ask for man.

Expressed fears to hubs. Reaction. Was exactly as I predicted.

Redneck is the same only in our case we live in the mountains, are fairly isolated (just ours and his mom's house) and I'm deaf (cochlear implant which I take off at night)

I worry that as he works nights if anyone was to break in I wouldn't know until it's too late and want an alarm system that would alert me - he thinks I'm over reacting :(

I totally understand that fear!  I normally am a light sleeper so wake up if hubs works late and I'm already in bed.  Like I wake up when he opens the door 2 floors above me.  One day I wake up and he's in bed already and he can't figure out why I'm freaking out.  Because you crawled into bed with me and I had NO idea!! You could've been anyone!

I park close to the doors because I don't want to walk across a parking lot.  There are only 2 cameras in the club and they are both by the front door so unless the club was never closed no one would know I was dead in there or out back.

Granted I'm not going to live my life as if I'm about to be raped and left for dead, but I think I'll be taking some self defense classes so at least I feel I could put up a struggle or get away.

I would think you would need a system that would alert you.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I figure personal safety & awareness go a long way to feeling confident as well as being sensible

I know but he does that thing that a lot of hearing folk do, thinks that because he's lost some hearing over the years that he knows what it's like to be deaf - trust me, you have no idea 😂

I kinda understand it as I'm not stereotypical deaf, my speech is normal and when I have my cochlear on my hearing is pretty good.

I always call being deaf the hidden disability, you can't tell from looking at someone how difficult everyday can be :)

But on the plus side when I want to ignore em I can just press the mute button 😆

Preamble to Saturday GS/ES report, read first man:

We have said it before and shall do so again, restate we man.

Casa-owners should NOT be present at their own ESs, NO man!

Violation of the above should be a State Jail felony, for them and for the ES companies, do hard time man.

1.  We drove a LONG way to a promising-sounding ES, dedicated we man.

2.  Only one room and a couple of kitchen drawers were blue-taped off, off-limits man.

Many.  We did thorough reconnaissance and selected an armful of items, thorough we man.

Many.  As we reapproached, ancient casa-owner snapped, "NONE of that stuff is for sale!", snap senior she man.

Many.  We said, "It was all from accessible areas," truthful we man.

Many.  Ancient casa-owner snapped, "Well, NONE of it is for sale!", resnap she man.

Many.  We nearly said (but did not, no man), "Do you want to sell your junk so you can MOVE from here, lady?"

Many.  ES employee told us, "I'm sorry," embarrassed she man.

Many.  We said, "No, you're not, or this would not have happened," peeved we man.

The above dampened the rest of the GS/ES itinerary, grrr man.
