No such place exists with the troll.  He scales gates, opens doors, climbs up high to unlock adult height locks, etc.  This was a matter of the Dane not paying attention, which is fine as one can't keep eyes on the kid for every second.

Eh, we just watch him.  Usually my purse is in a more difficult location, but I left my wallet right next to the Dane's.  Apparently he only noticed his wallet.

Morning all

Its a little chilly (9°), we also had an ice storm followed by snow which made driving interesting - would have been less fun if my Subaru wasn't still in the shop, driving the front wheel drive Kia was like trying to keep Bambi upright on skates 😂

Good morning and happy new year!! It's definitely nippy this morning.... 14 degrees here, so nothing compared to the temps some of you are getting. I'm still a popsicle, though.  Traffic is getting back to normal and the office is starting to fill back up..... annoying.

 

Hoping for a new job in 2018 and working towards that goal!

This was after several months ago giving up on finding the stuff that the Troll had dropped down a different vent and into the horsehair insulation of the house.

 

I'm ready to install hardware cloth on the backside of all of the vents at this point.

My final rant involves the $476 per night cost of a room at the Hard Rock resort in Punta Cana. Note, this is discounted severely from their normal price of $699 per night. Further note, RT airfare from New Mexico is only $444. Methinks we won't be joining the bride and groom in their chosen resort on their wedding week, especially since one can choose an alternate hotel for as little as $5 per night - not that you'd necessarily want to go quite that low in your selection.

!!  Yeah, that's way too much too assume wedding guests want to pay.
