I have a hurt chicken. I brought her in the house cleaned her up but she looks like she's trying to avoid stand or walking on one leg. She ate and drank poops like normal but won't walk and that is not good. I'm hoping she just jumped down to hard on the leg and because she doesn't want to move the bully pecked her.

Oh and it's cold outside gees! I'm ready for summer go away winter!

Poor little thing, I hope it passes. I suppose they can get a sprain, like any other creature, can't they?

Cold. I've only gone a few hours north of where we were, and it's well colder. Until we get the fence sorted, we have to take the dog out on a lead. I did not appreciate the stroll at 0500 this morning. It was a  dead sprint between us, to see who could get back into the warm bed first and its wonderful electric blankie. She won :D

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Poor chikn, hope she's feeling better soon...

Woke up this morning with a raging ear infection that now covers the whole left side of my head, been a lot of years since I had one get this bad so fast :(

Am treating it with some antibiotics I have left over and taking care of the pain with oxy left from rednecks surgery - think I might have to go see my ENT doctor tomorrow...

Then my car decided that turn signals are optional and refused to turn em on, along with any lights on my dashboard - AutoZone say it's not a fuse and my mechanic can't look at it until next week - the good news is redneck says it's time to get me a new car :)

I've only had an ear infection once, and I never want to have another. I am a total wimp. Worst pain I ever had, on a parr with a raging migraine. Hope you feel better soon.

A new car!! Ooooo....have you anything in particular in mind?

Still trying to find stuff. My Husband helped pack. Explains why the missing glassware was in a box marked books. Place is a total tip still but it's our tip :)

On the first day of the move, he tripped over a moving dolly and landed square on the handle in the center of his sternum. Worse now, of course, but refused to get checked out when it happened. He has an appointment the 29th with his new Doc, I suppose we will see then what he's done.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It makes me smile every time you post about your new home, I'm so happy for you!

Oh no I hope he's just bruised.

New car, other than AWD or 4WD (need it to get up here in bad weather) not thought about it, preferably not lots of money...

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

What brand car?

I mean what brand car with the bad signal and lights.

Subaru Forester, we were advised by our insurance agent to get a cheap car for me so it could just have liability for the first 2 years to make it cheaper and we need AWD/4WD up here.

It's so lovely and quiet here. Well less stress, and I don't miss it a bit :)

I hope so too but by the moaning and groaning all day today you'd think the end was near. He may have cracked a rib, but there isn't anything to do about that even if he did.

I looked at a Highlander couple of years back, but ours is still in good nick, and runs on the smell of an oily rag, so I'll keep it a while yet.

Hmmm...I'm not familiar with that one.

I know certain GMs are famous for having a instrument panel problem (My Yukon). I sent the whole panel to a guy in Tennessee, he fixed it great for a hundred bucks.

The signals are usually a bad relay.

I gave the kid a practice run on the 2016 NY State math test today. She got 50 out of 52.

2 Fraction questions wrong (Which she hasn't officially learned yet).

So, I'm feeling kinda content here....

She must be very bright, that's an excellent result. I don't do maths, always been my downfall.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

We have ROC to file in a few months, I'm distracting myself from pain so dug out the envelope we've been throwing things in since I got here - it weighs a ton!

I chucked everything that came in the door in the 'evidence box'. It's amazing how it piles up, and how easy it would have been to spend days hunting it all down otherwise. Himself still says..."evidence"!  No longer required thank goodness :)
