Not everyone will be able to prepay. Westchester County NY already said they can't prepare the tax bill.

I read on the WSJ that CT wasn't allowing it, but her mortgage company/bank who usually pays the tax bill told her today that they were able to do it, so I don't know.

But it does create a bigger deficit.

Which I don't get at all.  The economy is doing fine, they should have raised taxes.  No one wants to be the bad guy, I guess.

Speaking of deficit, I wonder how Stretch's chicken is doing...

:P

My chicken's are doing good. Got me some jumbo size eggs the last few days.

I had all the kids home for Christmas.

The Tornado has decided she wants to move to Texas with her big brother because she misses him too much. I told her when she is a bit bigger she can have a sleepover. She liked that idea.

That's a broad statement.

To a lot of working class families, this helps a lot. My guys making around 100k with a couple of kids will benefit greatly. Just from the child tax credit and the lower tax rate alone, it'll equate to thousands a year. They in turn, are not going to sit on the money, they'll go spend it, further fueling the economy.

But the interest rates will also rise, that's the intangible, I think there'll be much less refis in the next few years...that's gonna have an impact...

I have a hurt chicken. I brought her in the house cleaned her up but she looks like she's trying to avoid stand or walking on one leg. She ate and drank poops like normal but won't walk and that is not good. I'm hoping she just jumped down to hard on the leg and because she doesn't want to move the bully pecked her.

Oh and it's cold outside gees! I'm ready for summer go away winter!

Poor chikn, hope she's feeling better soon...

Woke up this morning with a raging ear infection that now covers the whole left side of my head, been a lot of years since I had one get this bad so fast :(

Am treating it with some antibiotics I have left over and taking care of the pain with oxy left from rednecks surgery - think I might have to go see my ENT doctor tomorrow...

Then my car decided that turn signals are optional and refused to turn em on, along with any lights on my dashboard - AutoZone say it's not a fuse and my mechanic can't look at it until next week - the good news is redneck says it's time to get me a new car :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey
