How we spent our Tuesday, egad man:

 

Before bed, we'd taken Heap Strong back-medicine, nuke ourself man.

Awaken coughing at half-past Many a.m., too early man.

Doze back off until just Many a.m., insufficient zzz man.

 

Awakened by a harassed-by-Mini-B. Mrs. T-B., irked she man:

Mrs. T-B.:  We're going to Space Center Houston like you promised us -- get up!

T-B. [groggily]: That was for Thursday, remember man... and not THERE...

Mrs. T-B.:  I'll buy our tickets and we'll leave without you!

T-B. [groaning]:  Wait, wait... let us try to get ready.

 

We ready ourself, on highly insufficient caffeine man.

We prepare and get into the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, excursion man.

Thanks to Mrs. T-B.'s returning to the casa Many00 times for forgotten items, leave an hour before noon man.

 

Stop at NonDiscount Tyre to air the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile's tyres, low man.

Many (2x2x2-1) vehicles in front of us, groan man.

Tyre-airer socializing at length with each customer, move it man.

 

Mrs. T-B.:  We should eat before we go.

T-B.:  We have soon-to-expire coupons for Schlotzsky's, but it's out of the way man.

Mrs. T-B.:  Let's go.

 

At Schlotzky's, we caucus with cashiers about most sensible use of coupons, who wouldn't man.

Mrs. T-B. gets irked, no financial sense she man.

Feels better after eating, ingest we/she/Mini-B. man.

 

Drive Many miles, nearly fall asleep at wheel we man.

Make Space Center at 1 p.m., hard to park man.

Parking admission $Many ($2+2+1), rip-off foreseen man.

Place absolutely mobbed with locals & furriners, everyone with same idea man.

Admission fees an outrageous $Many, rip-off foreseen man.

Wait in lines for boring kids' activities, yawn man.

 

Mrs. T-B.:  Let's go on a tram tour!

T-B.:  Look at those lines -- it'll take hours man.

Mrs. T-B.:  Mini-B. wants to go!

 

We wait in tram/bus line for 2 solid hours, most of this outside brrr man.

Our back is spazzing from standing up too long, ouch man.

We are then FIRST in line to be precluded from boarding, full capacity man.

However, we are allowed to board if Mini-B. sits on our lap, acceptable man.

 

Bus-ride takes nearly half an hour, across town man.

Tour is of Buoyancy Laboratory, stand and look down at truly boring stuff man.

Bored Manyage tour-guide rushes us back to bus, after a full Many (2x2x2) minutes man.

Ride back takes nearly half an hour, egad man.

Could barely get off bus because of our stiff back, total spasm man.

 

We disembark, mercifully man.

T-B.:  We should warn everyone else still in line not to bother, public service man.

Mrs. T-B. [somewhat contrite]:  Let's just go back inside.

 

Briefly consider paying even more to stand in long line for another Mini-B. activity, further rip-off man.

Decide to leave instead, merciful choice man.

Can barely seat ourself in Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, spazzed back man.

We seethe at wasted day of torture and Mrs. T-B.'s lack of judgment in picking/timing activities, grrrr we man.

 

Mrs. T-B.:  We should eat before we go.

T-B. [rolling eyes]:  And we haven't spent enough on this wasted day already?

Mrs. T-B.:  What do you have coupons for?

T-B. [startled at first-ever indication of good financial wifely sense]:  Burger King and Arby's, man.

Mrs. T-B. [sighing]:  I don't want to go to Arby's.

Mini-B.:  I want curly fries with ketchup at Arby's, Daddy!

T-B.:  We go to Arby's, si man.

 

Mrs. T-B. enjoys Crispy Chicken sandwich at Arby's, we could have predicted this man.

Mini-B. enjoys curly fries with ketchup, ingest wee man.

 

Drive to casa in rush-hour traffic, silently angry we man.

Mini-B. falls sound asleep, zzz wee man.

Mrs. T-B. begins criticizing our driving, nag we she man.

T-B.:  Shut UP!  This was another of your mierda del toro choices, like Sea World Many years ago, see man?

Mini-B. still asleep upon casa-arrival, dark outside man.

Mrs. T-B. carries Mini-B. upstairs to bed, our back incapable man.

We take 2-hour nap, overly delayed and deserved by we man.

 

Moral, see man:  Both Sea World and Space Center Houston are rip-offs, forget the idea of either man.

On Wednesday, Mrs. T-B. leaves at o'dark-Many for business appointment, awaken prematurely we man.

This essentially precludes the taking of much-needed Heap Strong back-medicine, sigh man.

 

Mrs. T-B. to return around mid-morn, always add a couple of hours to that man.

Then we have our Tuesday errands to run, day late man.

Have catch-up caucus with doctor late in afternoon, caucus we & MD man.

Then we shall take a nap at a time and of a duration of OUR choosing, no backtalk from anybody man.
