It is a hard slog to break them of those habits. I remember the hell we went through trying to get the older one to sleep without Grandma at night.  Uggghhh.

 

I probably wouldn't have done it before we got the new bed last week or if we had gotten the bed frame yet.  I had him sleep on the outside with my giant pregnancy pillow.

Are tales of pets sleeping or not sleeping in the marital bed count? If not, I'll shuddup.

 

But if allowed, I will say that it almost broke La Colombiana's heart listening to our puppy's whimpering outside the bedroom door the first 2 nights we had him. But the pup shut up after that I'm very happy about not being one of those people who have pets sleeping in their bed. He gets to watch tv with us on the bed even to the late hours, but sleepy time is sleepy time, and he knows the rules.

Painting was finished yesterday. I've been moving furniture like crazy. 

 

Kids in bed yup got that checked x6. The Jedi will be out soon hopefully. I'm going to miss the cuddles but sure the heck going to love having my bed back. 

No dogs in my bed now. All dogs sleep crated mostly because I have a doxie that has seizures so you never know when she will mess the bed. 

My old lab we had used to sleep in my bed when the kids would go to school and I went back to bed. She slept with the boy that just moved to Texas, he used her as a pillow. It was the sweetest sight ever.

A seemingly permanent vestigial hang-up from Ecu is that cats are just animals, not family members man.

Mrs. T-B. rather rudely shoves cat off bed during nighttime sleeptime, incorrigible she man.

She's more tolerant about furniture & beds at other times, however man.

This morn, we curbsided the garbage bin and the recycling bin, Job of Husband man.

Recycling is typically collected mid-morn and garbage mid-afternoon, usual man.

 

At some point (we guess noonishly), Mrs. T-B. goes to add stuff to the recycle bin, add she man.

It has already been picked up, observe she man.

 

Mrs. T-B. thereupon de-curbsides BOTH bins back to casa-side (and in wrong position), atypical action for she man.

She failed even to peek under lid to check whether garbage had been collected (it wasn't), ADD she man.

After a strenuous day of POTS sales, we didn't need to discover this, upset we man.

There are firm reasons why we do certain casa-hold jobs all the time, one example here man.

Hubs wants the dog to sleep with us but whenever we try he keeps us awake in the middle of the night.  So he stays in his crate, in another room.  I dont mind the cats though.

Yeah I promised myself that I'm taking 2 vacations in November. 

1 for fishing. 

1 for hunting. 

But now the big guy's elderly mother is sick. So I gotta see...

 

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for TNG to come in so I can throw him out.
