We forgot to mention some Friday news, ADD we man.

Snow was on the non-paved ground this morn, pretty as long as it went fully away later man.

 

Mini-B. got so excited, first snow job for wee man.

He made a snow angel, just enough of it man.

He made/threw a snowball, delighted wee man.

He concluded that a helicopter had brought the snow, logic of wee man.

 

Thankfully, the dratted stuff completely melted by Many a.m., belongs elsewhere man.

Texas Zero snow, elsewhere Many, proud and proper man.

After months of messing us all about, filling our house with junk, preventing my mum from visiting by holding on to her house full of 'stuff' MIL finally moved back to her house a couple of months ago & we got our lives back.

She is now in hospital and about to have her gallbladder removed and will have to come back to ours whilst she recuperates, I just want to cry

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Oh no. I'm so sorry Trudi :cry:That totally sucks. Has she absolutely got to come to you?  I stuck my MIL in rehab/convalescence until she was well enough to come home. She did, of course, come home, but it brought us a few weeks here and there of peace and quiet.

We were supposed to go out grocery shopping and the Dane was supposed to paint today so I could get my tree up, but what do you know, another emergency call.  He has to drive into work and then to another town 25 minutes away...  Annoying.  His boss just fired one of the other guys that was doing on-call, so now it is back to every other week.  :unsure:

Oh boy. Seems like a severe case of Enjoying Ill Health. ;) Mine kept saying, "my it doesn't take long to get around town when you're sick and have to be in the hospital". I told her if she didn't want people to know, she should stop telling them. Really, telephone, telegraph, tell Janie the ministers wife.  My MIL is all about the attention too.

 

I hope to heaven she meds well and gets out of your hair ASAP.

Target trip = success.  Originally spent $800 and something on groceries and general life supplies and got a bigger discount than expected because their coupons weren't working right.  It ended up being 20% off everything after tax + 5% off of everything versus the discounts being taken consecutively or not applying to sales items.  Downside was instead of it being instant, got a giftcard for the 20%.  Booo.   We'll end up using it in the next month, though.
