I just did some math...

If that's a five acre lake...what's that about 230,000 square feet? 

Which is about 500x500' 

Perimeter is 2000 linear feet. 

People can't throw money into the middle, too far. 

So let's say they can reach the first 30 feet from the edge of the lake. 

So 30x2000= 60,000.

That's 60,000 square feet. If there is an average of 1 dollar on each square foot of lake bed, what's that come out to? Fiddy thousand bucks??

That's a gross underestimate. I bet there's at least double that in there. 

A hard working bum can be a zillionaire in no time!

I've deposited my puny little pension check from Nova Scotia for two years here. They deduct the exchange rate, in a couple of weeks, all good. Now they made a policy change. Oh, they'll still cash it, after I pay a 15.00 service fee, 40 bank fee.

We've been married for 11 months, today.

It's a weird feeling, especially since we've seen each other a total of 2 months out of a year.

But at the same time it's kind of cool that we will get to be newlyweds that aren't so newly-wed.

 

3 more days to go! before I go to Cozumel.

I'm looking forward to decorating the tree, spending time with my dad, seeing my husband,

cooking and eating some of my favorite foods.

My mother is coming out again.  They moved the closing to before Christmas, but honestly, no one knows if it will happen then or not.  The mortgage broker is super frustrated because the seller's agent's voicemail is always full (it has been for months) and my mom's agent doesn't often answer the phone either.  Minnneslooooowta for ya.

 

So, if she closes, I suspect we'll be doing a lot of picking out new flooring, paint, and getting workers all lined up to renovate.  Honestly, I'm not sure I'm up for it.
