Hunting is only 1 weekend over there?

It is about a week for regular rifle hunting.  Every other car you pass on opening weekend has people in bright orange in it and you see people at the side of the road with their guns out.  It is hugely popular here.  In nearby North Dakota, they've had to raffle the deer tags and a lot more people are moving to archery to attempt to get one.

What does he have on now?

Just regular all-season truck tires.  He wanted Nokians too, but they only make studded tires for trucks...he thinks it is weird to use studded tires without the studs.  I've found him another recommended tire that seems to be hard to get online at the moment and he is going to call around and see if anyone has it locally.

Yeah I can see why the short season.

1- Too many hunters

2- Too cold, not too many deer.

3- Poor Dutch.....

Here on private land, we opt to wear camo, with just a little bit of blaze.

The season is long here. Bow started in October, and late season runs til the Sunday before Christmas.

I remember people hunting in New York for a long period of time.

There are plenty of deer (I swear I see one at least once a week), but the number of hunters is the limiting factor.  I think different areas of the state have different time periods and limits to do with the specific populations.

We've seen a return of wolves because of the deer.  There has even been a return of elk, moose, and bear to this area.  The Dane almost hit an elk at work one day.  That would have been an ouch.  I think bears and wolves have a hunting season...

Yeah man there's lotsa game in MN, that whole midwest region. But they're scarce. The cold area simply can't support too many deer per square mile. Also don't forget, in crowded NY and NJ, it's hard to find space to shoot a deer. So a lot are spared, and feed through the milder winters. Game is abundant in NY and NJ. Plus NY puts a tremendous amount of $ into it's forestry.

The deer take avg is always high in NY compared to other states.

But everyone thinks of the country states, no one knows that NY is actually one of the best states for hunting and fishing.

You guys have seen my fishing and hunting pics.

The proof is there, year after year.

However, I should add that hunting and fishing is also very expensive in NY.

Now, my wife is getting a new phone tomorrow. But she has no idea how to use verizon cloud with her iphone to back up her stuff.

<sigh> I told her time and again, go ####### ANDROID!!

Mama T-B. went on reconnaissance at her previous crib today, inspect senior she man.

She approved wholeheartedly of Ecu amigo's garage-cleaning & picture-hanger-hole-patching, mirabile dictu man.

However, buyers want Closing moved up a day, eager they man.

Plus, they want inside earlier to take measurements, furniture-placement man.

Plus, Mama T-B. wants to get this stuff over with, overeager senior she man.

Ergo, Mama T-B. ordered Mrs. T-B. to order the cleaning-chica (available only on Wed.) to appear on Tues., senior she order she man.

And with intensity, too, see dialogue man:

Mrs. T-B. [phoning us]:  Cariño -- your mom just called... she's going aysheep.

T-B.:  Aysheep about what -- what she called us about earlier?  The closing and the cleaning?

Mrs. T-B.:  Si.

T-B.:  Did you explain to her that your amiga is available only on Wednesday?

Mrs. T-B.:  Si, but your mom wants her on Tuesday.

T-B. [sighing]:  We'll call Mama T-B., sigh man.

Just after we hung up with Mrs. T-B., Mama T-B. phoned us to re-explain the situation and to re-explain in detail why everyone should drop everything else that they were doing (e.g., Mrs. T-B.'s business appointments and our POTS sales) and go aysheep on behalf of her topic, everything a crisis to senior she man.  We managed to mollify Mama T-B. by suggesting that the cleaning-chica still show up on Wed., but start in earliest possible morn, thus probably finishing in time to enable the buyers to come in to measure before sundown, logical we man.

Mama T-B.'s response:  "Well, she'd better finish early and do a very good job -- I saw dirt on the carpet!  I can't have the buyers see the house in that condition or they might back out of the purchase!  And you tell Mrs. T-B. to call me the instant that job is done, so I can call my real estate agent so he can call the other agent so she can call the buyers in what had better be time for them to take measurements before dark!  And I'm going to inspect the cleaning job first -- before dark!  I'm not paying $Many/hour for a slapdash job!  And you tell Mrs. T-B. that she can put her business on hold this week until all this is over-and-done with and finished!  I want to get it over with before they back out!"

Our response:  Si, man; we'll handle it, man.

Our response [to self]: :bonk: , man

Sigh and :bonk: , man...

To be fair, Mama T-B. did nearly Many% of this move all by herself at her age (Many), and if she can't wait one day longer for the original closing-day, who can blame her man.

Here the postman is the only one that rings the bell. Once.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

We have one of those long chimes, so multiple ringers are blocked out.

The delivery people never ring the door bell anymore.  Then I go to the front door to get the package and inevitably knock it down the stairs by opening the door or can't open the door at all.  Smart thinking, that.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.
