06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Had to get up at o'dark-Many this morn to get Mini-B. to skool, previously mentioned man.

Barely made it, confluence of events man.

But did make it, overcome confluence of events man.

 

Then went to scrap-metal place, full T-B.-mobile trunk man.

Got $Many.Many ($2x2x2+2+2+1.2x2x2x2+2+2+1) for brass, stainless, aluminum, & lead, get the lead out man.

Too bad that they didn't take metal, tested with magnet man.

He decided to come home early, but the roads are already terrible.  It is near white-out in town and lots of snow in the last 3 hours.  They said by rush hour, the winds are supposed to pick up to 60mph...so it will be super white-out by that point.  Yeeessh.

Your winter is really off with a hiss and a roar! It's 70 here today. We are meant to be having strong thunderstorms later on.  Certainly, nothing like you are getting!  Glad he decided to come home early, it's stressful to have someone out in that.

The snow from before Halloween had just finally melted too.  Now it is like a winter wonderland again.

Too hot in the summer.  I actually don't mind Iowa - that is where the Danish museum is!  My step-father went to Iowa State, lol.
