So, you know how a couple of weeks ago I was complaining about this business quiz that had absolutely nothing to do with my class?  He gave me a near perfect score and the majority of the class failed.  Eeek.  Now I feel like there is more pressure with completing this paper thing for his class.... only 3 more pages to go.  #stressful.

I'm pretty sure he is an old-school bell curve grader for semester grades.  You have to have a much higher score than normal just to get a B. Maybe one person is getting an A, maybe.  And my B could easily slip to a C.

Well, it isn't like they can't just foreclose on it, etc.  The land that the house is on is almost half of its sales value at this point.

Silly woman, she could have just bought it with cash.   I'm on her accounts...I could have just loaned her the difference for a month if she didn't want to be penalized for taking it out of her other accounts.

We aren't having a tree this year, or anything else. She had a prelit tree she's been using for years, but over the last few years, parts of it refused to light, and I've had to add lights to make it look decent. Last year, she ordered a brand new one after the holidays, and other than opening the box to look at it, it's never been used. She is taking it with her to give to her grandkids. We have one of those naff Charlie Brown ones, I might stick that up if time permits.  I think we're going to have too much going on really.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

In the past couple of years, I've had to replace a couple of plugs and fuses on the tree. It's a big tree so it has like 10 plugs and sockets inside of it. They make a Christmas tree repair kit for it. Has fuses and bulbs for it. But I think it's time to get one a those LED trees.

Gump calls me up earlier. "Is my car ready?"

Now I told him to get it to the shop yesterday morning at 8:30. He shows up at 11 with it.

Yes, it does make that much of a difference...

Speaking of Gump, giving him a ride home yesterday, the conversation that took place...

< sigh> lemme get a cup a coffee and go to the desktop...

Ours is this huge collection of ornaments that look nothing alike.  I have ones that were my grandmother's and great grandmother's, ones from my first Christmas, ornaments I made as a kid, ones the kids made me, random pretty ones I've picked up over the years, etc.  Every year when we unwrap them and decorate the tree we talk about them.  My daughter loves learning about each one, it is cute.

That is what I told her to do, but she doesn't listen to me.  She could have closed this past visit if she did that and already been renovating it.
