I'm about this close to selling the Dane to organ traffickers.

 

He knows I'm not feeling well today.  He knows I've been having a ton of Braxton-Hicks contractions.  He knows I have a ton of schoolwork today and this weekend because the semester is finishing.  Not only has he been gone 3 hours, but someone is god damn in my house at 10pm and I can't put the Little Dane to bed so I can at least start on my schoolwork because he bangs so hard on the door and screams.

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Lost >2 hours tonight because of upgrading the Mac from Sierra to High Sierra (OS Many.Many.Many to Many.Many.1), tedious man.

Getting to log on just when it's past time to go to bed, GSs/ESs & Mama T-B.'s ES tomorrow man.

Did compile some donation receipts and play "chase the fuzzy ball" with cat, find we and chase miu man.

De-dish cat prep zzz man.

She's off to Virginia, to live near her daughter. We have to be out by the end of the month. If we get the place we looked at, it would be in the Ozarks, north-west AR.  Hardly my first choice, but we'll do.

In related news, my mother still hasn't closed on this house near us.  Between the mortgage company and the homeowner completing necessary repairs it is taking forever and a day.  Why a mortgage company is so picky over a house that costs less than a car is besides me.
