Went over to Mama T-B.'s erstwhile casa, mission man.

Dropped more items for the ES, drop we man.

Went through outside boxes, see man.

Emptied most contents into trash- or recycle-bin, depending man.

Found Mama T-B.'s Phi Beta Kappa certificate, heirloom man.

Sliced now-empty boxes down, unkindest cut of all man.

 

In little more than an hour, we filled both bins, cut down all boxes, and had no more extra-bin trash, successful we man.

Took one trashy bag back to our casa, collection day tomorrow man.

Took Many (2+1) flattened boxes back to our casa, collection day tomorrow man.

Stuffed couple of items into vacant-casa's trash bin, curbsided by us man.

Mama T-B.'s erstwhile bins shall be curbsided appropriately next week, curbed enthusiasm man.

True, Nola-B. ma'am.  Mama T-B. kept (keeps) a clean casa, so this was mosty unwanted/undonatable items that had been stored in the garage since Parental Units T-B. moved to town.  We are pleased that there isn't junk for sale at her ES, as there is at so many others.

 

Speaking of which, several GSs & ESs are itineraried for this weekend, keep our streak alive man.

Your break was 65-70? The highway speed is here 75.  Lol. In ny you cant turn right at a stop light.  Here you can unless its otherwise indicated.  Where Im from the car turning left should move into the intersection and has right of way during a yellow or red light.  Here it's illegal due to blocking emergency vehicles.  

Ny has a huge book because there are so many people.  I bet there are contradictions galore in that book.  The book for Arkansas is likely 15 pages and 5 talk about horses.

People get stupid righteous about the stupiest things.  Had a work meeting yesterday.  Declawing has been banned in Denver.  But as it has not been banned here, people from Denver will likely just go to neighboring towns and cities to have it done.  

I mentioned in the argument and conversation that ensued I once knew a lady who had the canines removed from her elderly dog because anything that touched that dogs back end was cause for it to snap and bite due to an injury it has sustained as a puppy.  The lady was a trainer, a groomer, had  young children, other animals, and a home based business.  At the time it was this or euthanasia.  Mother of all freakouts.  I am forced to overtalk the loudest and say "this was when I was 16, so 20 years ago, in a rural area...Obviously there are better options these days." Since the people arguing here 1-5 years old 20 years ago, they shut up.   20 years ago dogs like that didnt get "rehomed," they got a shot to the head. 

Apparently in "todays" society, we cant mention something we knew about once upon a time because it must have been the same then as now and that was about 5 mins ago.  So note to self dont mention things like that because despite trying to say "times change and we progress! Yay!" People jump on the negative and go bat guano. 

I also work with some very bitchy self entitled people.  "I have senority! I have earned not working Saturdays!" was thrown about... who the heck cares?! You've been here a year vs the other person's 7 months...  

Today I really debated if I made the right decision.  I got a phone call yesterday about an assistant operations manager spot at another 24hour fitness.  I can see why this clinic has staff who "know it all" after 2-3 months of working there.  I think they have a high turnover rate.  I am worried.

Yes, you can make a right turn on red in ALL of NY state, except the 5 boroughs of NYC (Unless otherwise indicated), OR- if the intersection is a 3 way intersection, and there is no roadway to you left, Or- if it's a 3 way intersection with the traffic from your right traveling in a 1 way direction towards your left. 

 

NY VTL talks about animals just the same. And farm vehicles, and everything that the other states VTLs talk about. 

 

No the hillbilly VTL is not much simpler than the NY VTL. It's probably about 5-600 pages. The laws governing commercial vehicles are just as complex in all states.
