But here, I have a car that is insured by me, and GAP insurance provided for free by Lexus. I have a warranty for 3 years. Which is, coincidentally, the term of my lease. If anything happens to the car, and my insurance doesn't cover enough, the GAP insurance picks up the "gap". Get it? I don't fix it, I don't do ####, and if I feel like it, I bring the car in for the free oil changes. After 3 years, I bring it back, "Here's your piece of ####, where's my nice new car?" 

 

If I bought the car, and I get into a collision, now I'm stuck to a piece of junk. Or if I get sick of the car, who's going to have 30k to buy a used car from me? that's IF I find a buyer for it. If I bought the car, I'd put 20k down. But I can lease the car and put 2k down, or 0 down. Up to me. And I can use that 20K to get at least a 10% return on many investments. 

 

So, for a guy like me, and many others like me, in the US. Leasing is great. It's a no brainer. 

 

But Stretch made me use my brain just now. Grrrr.....

We, Mrs. T-B., & Mini-B. went to Mama T-B.'s old casa, road trip man.

We dropped more stuff for the ES, drop we man.

Mrs. T-B. retrieved a mirror desired by Mama T-B., who's fairest man.

Mini-B. ran around for one last time, interested-in-ES-concept wee man.

We curbsided the trash bins, far too little space man.

 

Rant, grrr man:  What gives cities/municipalities the right to limit the amount of taxpaying residents' curbsided garbage by requiring it to fit into finite-spaced bins except for one bulk collection per month, huh man?

I've never seen a more unreliable POS financial management software. 

I swear about 20-50% of the ####### time, the payroll site is down! 

Gonna have to find a new solution...

Texas 0  Minnesota Many.

 

We pay $7/ month per additional trash can and we can have as many as we want.  Or pay $2.50 per tag to occasionally use a trashcan or $1 a trash bag.  A couple of times a year we rent a small dumpster from the city, the first rental is free for a week... anything else is $1 a day.

So, today's dilemma...

One of the girls here moved on, with like a days notice. (Very unprofessional). 

So now we gotta hire someone. 

We have  2 on the clip. 

And the manager is like, hey I got someone really good.

Now me and the big guy, we look at each other and we're like..you're lucky you're still here, and you expect us to hire someone that YOU recommended?? This guy had a better chance walking in off the street than being recommended by you. 

 

Moral of the story; if you're not liked, don't be recommending your buddy, because you just ####ed him over big time.
