My appointment is officially all set up a few days before Valentine's Day.  I've got to be there at 5 am, so the Dane and I are going to stay in a hotel nearby the night before and maybe actually get some sleep without the kids around.

Continuing melodrama, sigh man.

Mrs. T-B. leaves for business appointment, empresaria she man.

Movers supposed to load up Mama T-B., put couch on last, drop couch at our casa at noon, then proceed man.

At Many a.m., Mama T-B. calls us in a panic:  "They're working faster than expected!  Can you stay at your casa?"

"Negatory, man," we reply.  "We must sell POTSs.  Mrs. T-B. will be back before noon, return she man."

"Well, CALL HER!" said Mama T-B. in a panic.  "They're working FAST!"

 

We phone an irritated Mrs. T-B., who confirms probably casa-ward arrival at half-past Many a.m.

"If they get there and no one's home, have them leave the couch at the front door!" said Mrs. T-B. irritably.

"Mama T-B. won't like this answer, no man," said we.

"It's OK!" said Mrs. T-B.  "No need for her to go aysheep!"

 

We phoned Mama T-B., who did not like the answer and continued to go aysheep, no other possible result sigh man.

Why must the bottom Many'th of a can of shaving-cream turn into liquid that runs off one's hand between squirting and facial application, huh man?

 

We spent a whole dollar on this can (at an ES) and are indignant about not getting our money's worth, grrr man.

Just got back from Manhattan...

We "splurged" yesterday near midnight on a Cyber Monday deal. Norwegian Airlines was running deals all over the place. We had previously talked about travel to Spain at some point in 2018 and a $378 RT fare from LA to Barcelona looked too good to pass up. So we'll be traveling in mid March to Barcelona with a side trip to France to see my sister. We're rather excited.

 

Bonus - no visa requirement to travel to Europe for La Colombiana.

A nice day,  finished a project from a few years back

I was glad to see that his watercolor tattoo is still intact almost 4 years after I did it. 

It was humbling and shocking to know my client supports his family making less than half of what I make,

the pay in Mexico is ridiculous. How can people afford anything? This apartment costs more than most

people's salaries. It's out of control. I'm incredibly lucky I do what I love and I earn very well for it. 

 

I'm waiting for my last appointment and then probably drink a glass of wine and enjoy a film.

I have two full weeks before getting back to Cozumel, and then to relax on the beach.
