Well the house is starting to look more normal. Two older boys are gone well the one only was here on Thursday, the other left this morning. The Tornado and Jedi missed their big brothers. Boy left with 3 dozen eggs and a few other items I could get him to take with him. I tried to get him to take more. 

 

Now time to finish the laundry and relax again.

A decent Sunday, all things considered man.

Mini-B. actually agreed to come with us to the haircut place, agree wee man.

Took him to the Mexican place, half the price of the place Mrs. T-B. takes him to man.

Mini-B. highly pleased with manly look and now handsomer than ever, cheap off the old block man.

 

Went to help Mama T-B. by request, we help senior she on day before move man.

Put two trash-bags (weight, several tons each) into bin and curbsided bin, hard even for us man.

Worked hard to convince Mama T-B. that ES attendees buy canned food, save ourself from carrying a load man.

Movers come Monday at half-past Many (2x2x2+1) a.m., big day for out-stressed senior she man.

Mrs. T-B. to be present for moral/fizzicle support, keep Mama T-B. from going "aysheep" man.

Mini-B. has been hitting the books that we bought the other day at Many (2+2+1) Below, enjoy wee man.

He blasted through a great Many pages in the second-grade math book, aptitudinous wee man.

We told him that he has a smart brain, truth man.

Mrs. T-B. will sign him up for a math class, nurture aptitude of wee man.

Maybe then he can progress to Many'rd-grade math, wouldn't surprise us man.

We will fill the obvious void and personally skool him in P-math, elegant system man.

The Little Dane was actually cooperative during his haircut this week.  He wanted to hop up on the chair after the Dane was done and sat very nicely while I cut it.  I was surprised... and it looks decent because he wasn't trying to run away the whole time.  He didn't get the beard trim that the Dane got, though.  

 

Doing it at home = free.

At McDonald's today, Mini-B. got a Pokemon critter with 2 tusks, interesting man.

Back at the casa, Mini-B. recruited us for a game with it, playful wee man.

 

Mini-B. started with Pokemon critter inside our laundry basket at one end of kitchen, ready set go man.

The Pokemon critter was to perform actions on the basis of commands, rules of game man.

In order, we were to say as follows, heed man:

"Small!" "Fly!" "Turbo-boost!" "Hit!" "Drill!" "Upward!" "Jump!" "Hologram!" "Manyple-boost!" "HologramHologramHologram!" "Land!", si man.

 

By final command, Pokemon critter was able to land on television stand in living-room, mission completed man.

Game was repeated approximately Many (2+2+2) times, gleeful wee man.

We wonder where Many-year-olds get their imaginations, wonder of nature man.

Mrs. T-B. left the tub of margarine out for a couple of hours, ADD she man.

For once, we didn't mind, no man.

'Tis easier to make lunches from warm margarine than when it's refrigerated, efficiency man.

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
