The pre-cooked supermarket turkey/fixin's were quite acceptable, ingest we & all man.

The half-a-smoked ham from Aldi drew raves, indeed excellent man.

WCG's apple & sweet potato pies were also highly worthwhile, made it to them we & all man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Right after ingestation, we & WCG went to Mama T-B.'s new casa, no zzz for we or he or she man.

Assembled a storage unit with great difficulty and a desk with ease, hard and easy man.

 

Returned briefly to casa, return we & WCG man.

WCG & Mrs. T-B. each wanted Bluetooth earphones at Many Below (2+2+1 Below), open at Many (2+2+2) p.m. man.

Went with WCG to Many Below, expedition man.

We ended up spending $Many ($2x2x2x2+[2x2x2]+1), clean up we man.

Got a new laundry basket, a 2nd-grade math book, a 1st-grade reading book, a maze book, &

     a connect-dots book for Mini-B., surprises for wee man.

Also got 2 boxes of Starburst and a can of Noxema shaving-cream, si man.

Mini-B. & Mrs. T-B. very well pleased, pleased wee & she man.

Returned to casa for mini-repeat of repast, re-ingest we & WCG man.

On Viernes Negro, WCG & we have these plans, plan we & WCG man:

 

1.  Hit half-price-off-everything at favorite resale store, bargains man.

2.  Visit bank so WCG can cash checks, $i WCG man.

Many.  Visit appointment-only ES, keep our impressive weekly streak alive man.

Many.  Visit Office Despot & Northern Tool, wait for crowds to subside man.

Many.  Do Whatever until WCG departs in early evening, bye WCG man.

Hillbilly bought another smoker. Why when we have plans to build a nice one here soon.

I don't understand a lot of the furniture and decor at Hobby Lobby.  It looks like it is going to give me tetanus.

 

I bought a fake tree today, despite my hatred of fake trees.  I'm sick of $80 trees that barely last 2 weeks and I seem to have developed an allergy to them.

Ya thats pretty much why(all of the above) I have a fake one. Plus this one now is pre lit so no lights to hang too.
