Hey everyone,

I got the kind of expedite from my embassy that says that they will expedite the case after I get a CC at the NVC

My question is: How long does it usually take to actually get the expedited interview after a CC?  I'm guessing at least a week delay to get the paperwork from the NVC, and another week for the medical exam etc.

Also, does the NVC do the scheduling, or does the embassy?

Has anyone else had this type of expedite?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi @alfinkel I did an expedite before but from my knowledge is the request was sent to the embassy in my country. Three days after I got a response with the date and time.

Did yo get a response 3 days after your case was completed at NVC

I think his question is how many days after  getting cc did you receive an interview date from your ambassy?

You don’t have to wait for case complete to request an expedite but every embassy and county is different

Right. I did already requested the expedite. The embassy replied that they themselves would not review my case, but rather they informed me that they would expedite the case AFTER I receive my CC from the NVC. Therefore, in my case I do need to wait for the CC.

It sounds like in your case the expedite meant that the case (AOS and IV packets) would be reviewed and completed at the embassy. Correct?

I think our situations are different.
