Hi all hope all is well I am Ross from Scotland UK and my fiancé is Megan from San Francisco 

 

1- well I know some people are having the same problem as me, it been 133 days since we have heard anything, has something happing or do I just my fiancé to be patient lol 

 

2- my passport runs out in October 2018 so less than a year now, and I have read you should have 6 months left for the visa and enter the USA. But I have to return to Uk in August for my best mates wedding, is it just best to get a new passport now to save time and hassle before I get the visa interview when that is going to happing lol 

 

3- is the arco police report cover me just for the uk or is it worldwide? Cause I lived in austraila for 2 years

Hi Ross

 

1) You got unlucky, processing seems to have slowed down again, it goes through stages sometimes applications fly through and other times they crawl

 

2) I was similar and decided that renewing it earlier in the process took a chunk of worry off so that's what I did (meant I had to renew my ESTA for the duration too)

 

3) You will need a police report from every country you lived in, no idea how you get the Australian one but I'm sure someone will be along to help you with that
