It's been exactly 1 month since my NOA1 for my K-1.  I daydream at work wondering what my K-1 packet is up to.  Is it in deep storage somewhere with a million other K-1s?  It must be lonely by now, not having human contact since they took the check away.  Do you get your K-1 packet back when it is approved?  Anyways thanks for reading the random thoughts of an impatient K-1 filer.  Hoping to get that sweet sweet NOA2 in about 3 months : )

it may seem like eternity but it will come eventually ;)  Maybe you will be lucky and get it earlier.

Hi Hoa , it took 147 days for us to get NOA2 approval. So hang in there! It is so worth waiting for.  After we got NOA2, our interview was scheduled 31 days later on 10/20.

Good luck

Gosh I know!!  Last year I saw people that filed in Novemberish of 2016 were getting noa2’s in like 2 or 3 months...  I don’t get it. Maybe during the holidays it will speed up?  But it doesn’t make sense because uscis employees would be on vacation during the holidays I would think...
