I've submitted my AOS, EAD and AP together back in June. I've been getting quite anxious to receive my EAD so I can work soon. It's been 104 days since USCIS has received my application and I have already received my Notice of Receipt back in July and did my biometrics in August. I've submitted a case inquiry and was supposed to receive a response by October 10th, yet no response received.

My main worry is, can there be a chance that I received an RFE by mail but the mail wasn't delivered? If an RFE was issued, does this show on the online case status? I'm just scared that some reason, the RFE letter never arrived and I've been sitting around not knowing :(

Please help. I've been so worried lately that my application may be delayed...

Waiting...

For that one day......

When I can spend my life with you

I have heard multiple people saying they never received a response from their SR. I put one in last week and am supposed to hear something in the next 6 days but it sounds like that is unlikely from others responses.

I just looked up the processing times for EAD/AP and it is currently June 20, 2017 and June 14, 2017.

Sadly it sounds like everything is just running really slow and they aren't too great at communicating right now.

I filed AOS last July and submitted a SR Sept 25th. Yesterday I got a Request for INITIAL evidence in the mail. Take note, it took them 90 days from my NOA1 to even send me an RFIE. And my case online hasn’t change from Fingerprint fee was received. My personal advise is try to call USCIS about your case since you said you submitted an SR and no answer yet. About your mails, try to sign up on “informed delivery” on USPS, it’s very helpful.

The case staus isn't reliable, so yes, it's very possible to get an RFE without noticing it on your online status. There's also a risk that the actual RFE letter never reaches your mailbox.

For that reason I called USCIS once a month to talk to a tier 2 to check on my status, to see if there were any RFEs sent out.
