Can my Green card be expidiated if I have a government job interview that requires a green card only? Already had interview July, no reason why the delay. No request for evidence. And I have a job interview that requires prove of legal residents. No EAD accepted.  Please help. What can i.do?

If you have a valid EAD then you're authorised to work in the US. A company cannot dictate which documents you provide to verify employment eligibility on an I-9.

 

An exception would be certain local, state, and federal government jobs, which can require US citizenship.

It's a government job.  And it is stated No employment authorizations only Green card, US birth certificate or prove of United States citizenship. I called and spoke to  employment officer and I was told the same.

You can call USCIS but I do not know of ways of expediting a green card.

 

GCs are taking a long time, even after interview.

You can try your congressman or senator to see if they can expedite your case. It's worth a shot

It seems like it's a bit of an excessive wait if OP was approved in July and still hasn't received their green card? When my husband was approved, we were told to contact the USCIS if he didn't get his card/

I had approval on 26th June 2017 and I'm still waiting Green card in the mail...almost 4 months...

I had an infopass:

officer said It should be expected within 6 months

attoney said 30 days

uscis call center said 60 days

 

I did a service request but nothing happened.

UNBELIAVABLE
